Bring on the world building! You have such a fascinating blend of genres and eras in this setting you've created, it reminds me of classic comics before they were relegated to the simplistic classification of "superhero nonsense". Reading this comic, for me, is reminiscent of Jack Vance's "Adventure Planet", a collection of four books that feels alive and full of High Middle Age meets space faring technology in a fashion I like to call "adventure sci-fi".
Yep, he was one of the early sci-fi authors who built up the genre, along with luminaries such as Poul Anderson, Robert Heinlein and Arthur C Clarke. I've only read a few of his books (the Planet of Adventure and Demon Princes collections), but they were all highly imaginative and fun reading. You can find a list of books on his website https://jackvance.com/ if you're interested. The Planet of Adventure collection contains all four books of Tschai (The Chasch, The Wannek, The Dirdir, The Pnume) and was my first introduction to his writings, though he's probably best know for his Dying Earth series.
