Whoa. This is one of my favorite pages of yours yet! Look at all those cool aliens! Mos Eisley was one of my favorite scenes from Star wars and I think you have definitely done a better job of it here.
I also like how you left some of the lines undrawn, which to me creates a kind of dusty effect...
My favorite is the blue Brontosaurus alien!
You're too kind, Chris-tar! Thank you! I worked like a dog on this page. Its hard to fill a panel with so much detail and not have it turn into a big mush! For me, at least. The brontosaurus guy idea came to me as I neared the end of the drawing. The idea hadn't even occurred to me until then! glad you like him!
I agree, nice composition and limited color palette, it draws attention to the things that should be noticed the most, and using rougher lines and fading provides a nice atmospheric effect common in classic comics. Life you say, adding too much detail can be too distracting, particularly if it's not your style*.
*The comic "Kill Six Billion Demons" has an insane level of detail, especially on the panoramic pages, and I have no idea how that artist/author produces pages with such quality so rapidly.
