Be careful, or yer gonna learn something around here! I like that they consider the aliens godlike. I wonder how that would affect the development of the organized religions we’re familiar with today. Kind of hard to sell an invisible all powerful god who just chooses not to be so obvi about it, when there are real godlike creatures zooming around vaporizing heads with ray guns....
When you think about it, throughout history, invaders have often been taken for gods by at least some of the inhabitants. Especially if it fits some prophecy story. Like Ghengis Khan and his horde being thought to be the horseman of the apocalypse.
I read a great story about him. When he first started to work for Marvel (or maybe DC), they asked him how many pages he could draw and he said, "Seven". And they said, "no, we mean per day, not per week". And he said, "yes, seven per day"! They couldn't believe it. He was a beast!
