Too bad this monster is not capable of rational thought, then he would have realized that getting into a sword fight with Rhinn was a suicidal idea and used different tactics. But wait, am I cheering for the monster? NO! I want Rhinn to win!
Wow, I'm blown away! I can't even imagine how much work goes into this, the brush work is phenomenal, it reminds me a lot of Prince Valiant and other swashbucklers like it, but with more fluidity. Lizard people also get an A+ from me, of course, who wouldn't like that?! It feels like a fully realized world and I'm excited to see where the story goes. Keep it up!
Thank you, Ray L! It is indeed a high honor to be compared to Prince Valiant! Hal Foster is Definitely one of my influences, along with and Al Williamson and Alex Raymond. But as much as I love those golden age artists, I also draw inspiration from silver and bronze age masters! John Buscema, Moebius, Frank Frazetta, Bernie Wrightson, to name a few. Thanks for reading, and I hope I can keep you coming back!
Agreed with Ray. And I think you adapted the Golden Age influence to our time very well :)
